Departure & Sabaki River Circuit (02:30 PM)
Afternoon pickup from your resort in Watamu or Malindi. Cross the Sabaki River bridge where hippos and flamingos often gather at the estuary as the river flows into the Indian Ocean.
Arrival at Mamburui Golden Dunes (03:30 PM)
Arrive at Mamburui, famously nicknamed 'The Little Dubai of Kenya'. Marvel at the immense golden sand dunes rising dramatically directly from the ocean shoreline.
Dune Trekking & Sandboarding Adventure
Hike up the rolling sand crests for sweeping 360-degree panoramas of the sea meeting the desert. Enjoy barefoot dune walking, optional sandboarding down slopes, and high-contrast desert photography.
Untouched Virgin Beach Walk
Descend to the secluded golden beach below the dunes. Collect sea shells along the deserted shoreline, dip your toes in the warm surf, and watch local fishermen hauling traditional nets.
Spectacular Sunset & Swahili Tea (05:45 PM)
Climb to the highest panoramic ridge to witness one of the most stunning African sunsets as the sky turns fiery amber and violet over the dunes. Savor traditional Swahili spiced tea and dates.
Return Transfer to Resort (06:30 PM)
Depart Mamburui and return comfortably to your coastal resort around 7:00 PM in time for evening dinner.
